Established in 2012
Since 2012, the Chelsea Historical Museum has worked to preserve and share the stories, people, places, and traditions that have shaped the Chelsea community. Through local artifacts, photographs, records, and community involvement, the museum helps connect Chelsea’s past with the people who call it home today.

To preserve, protect, and share the history of Chelsea and Alabama while connecting past generations with the present through education, preservation, and community engagement.

To ensure that Chelsea’s history remains accessible, meaningful, and valued for generations to come, while inspiring continued appreciation for the people and events that shaped our community.

This website was developed and donated to the Chelsea Historical Museum in 2026 as part of an Eagle Scout service project completed by K. Brown of Troop 354.
